We welcome short notice mobile spa party bookings but to avoid disappointment we recommend that you book your mobile spa party well in advance. We are almost always booked within 1-2 weeks, almost reaching capacity at 2-2.5 weeks, but are often fully booked on certain days 3 weeks in advance, especially if our calendar fills up with bachelorette / stagette party, bridal shower and corporate wellness parties (as those are often planned further in advance).
Even if you do not know which bachelorette / stagette / bridal shower / corporate wellness mobile spa services or girl’s spa birthday party package you would like to go with or the amount of guests, we recommend booking your desired spa party time and date with us as soon as possible in order to have your choice spa party date and time. You can always decide on exact services closer to the date.
To be extra safe, if you know the number of technicians you would like (or approximate party spend) you can guarantee a set service value your party will ensure to reach so we can guarantee the corresponding number of technicians. For example, if you agree to spend at least $400 for your bachelorette spa party we will guarantee 2 technicians (as we require $200 in services per technician). You can them get us your party spa service list (that is at least $400 worth of services) closer to the spa party date.
To keep our spa party prices optimal for our clients we accept e-transfers and cash only. We can accept credit cards if advance arrangements are made and if no other method is possible (an additional 3.5% service charge will apply however).
Our staff will work very hard to make your spa party a special experience. Gratuities (in the range of 15-20% of the service value) are customary for beauty professionals.
During the pandemic we've noticed a shift in some clients not tipping at all or adequately, even upon being completely satisfied with their party upon follow up. This has forced us to have to ensure our staff are compensated in a way that aligns with beauty industry standards. Similar to restaurants, we have had to implement a minimum 15% mandatory gratuity for our group spa parties.
For our client’s convenience on your booking invoice we break down what 15% of your service value is because you do not need to leave gratuities on non-services like crafts, decor, goody bags, taxes or travel.
If you are not fully satisfied with your spa party experience in a way that you feel warrants a 15% gratuity you can contact management at the time of your booking, before you pay, to discuss the removal of this automatic gratuity. Please note, absolutely no refunds for gratuities will be given after they have been paid to staff.
As little or as many kids/teens can attend so long as at least $150 in services are received for kid/teen mobile spa birthday parties. On Saturday’s only, we require a minimum party value of $200 for kid/teen mobile spa birthday parties ($150 must still be in services, the remaining $50 can also be in services or they can be in non-service add-ons like crafts, decor or goody bags).
We require $200 in services for adult mobile spa parties like bachelorette / stagette parties, bridal showers and corporate wellness parties.
We require a $100-$200 non-refundable e-transfer or credit card deposit upon booking your mobile spa party. The deposit amount payable is based on your overall party value. Please view our “Pay Your Deposit” page for more details.
Spa party booking cancellations require 3 weeks advance notice. Cancellations occurring in advance of 3 weeks will receive their deposit back in the form of a credit.
We request that clients RSVP at least one week in advance of their mobile spa party date with a confirmed booking including: number of guests, desired spa services/party package and any additional add-ons. As we do reserve time and staff based upon final confirmations, full services charges will still apply on any no shows / late cancellations that happen within 48 hours of the party. We will however provide added spa services of equal value (ie. extra nail art on the girls) in place of the late cancellations and/or no-shows.
We would like to note that we understand family emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen to our clients. Even if our cancellation requirements are not met due to such circumstances, we will endeavour to reschedule your event but can only do so if we happen to have availability in our schedule. If we honour the rescheduling of a late cancellation we also require that the overall party value remains the same or greater than previously booked and that we do not miss out on any new bookings by rescheduling your event.
Our kids/teen spa birthday parties are approx. 2-3 hours long (most commonly 2.5 hours) depending upon the spa birthday party package, number of girls and add-on activities. Due to unforeseen circumstances we may run over the allotted time. For this reason, we recommend having parents pick up their children 30 minutes (at a minimum) to 1 hour after our scheduled party end time. Please also ensure to have the girls arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the spa party start time.
Adult mobile spa parties are typically 2.5-4 hours long pending chosen services.
We can provide you with a more accurate time estimate once we know the exact guest numbers and services requested by all guests as the number of technicians we send is based upon your party service value. If you desire a certain party length (ie. keeping your party under 2.5-3 hours, for example) we can make suggestions to remove or add certain services to help you optimize timing.
Our adult mobile spa parties (like bachelorette, stagette, bridal shower, corporate wellness) and kid/teen spa birthday parties may be booked everyday from 10am to 9pm (if later is desired, a late night surcharge will apply).
Although we have some flexibility, we usually try to book mobile spa parties at standard times however. On Saturdays our first mobile spa party begins at 12pm or earlier (ie. 11am/11:30am, etc) and the second mobile spa party begins 4:30pm or later. For sleepovers we can do a later start time, such as 5/5:30/6/6:30pm. On Sundays our mobile spa parties begin at 11am or earlier and 3:30pm or later. If you desire a mid-day mobile spa party start time on the weekend (ie. 1 or 2pm time) please inquire with us. Monday through Friday our standard mobile spa party start time is 6 or 6:30pm but we are often available in the daytime anytime for corporate wellness spa party bookings. Alternate times may be accommodated, upon request and availability.
The number of technicians we bring to your girl's mobile spa birthday party depends upon the total service value of your girl's birthday party (service value = your birthday party package and service add-ons multiplied by the number of girls). When you spend $150 in services (our minimum requirement) you are entitled to one technician, $300 = two technicians, $450 = three technicians and so forth. Please note that products, crafts, goody bags, decor rentals, taxes, travel charges and gratuities are not services and therefore do not count towards your service value.
For bachelorette / stagette, bridal shower, baby shower and corporate spa parties we send 1 technician for every $200 in services you book. When you spend $200 in services (our minimum requirement) you are entitled to one technician, $400 = two technicians, $600 = three technicians and so forth.
A minimum $20 travel fee applies to all mobile spa party bookings. For mobile spa parties beyond a set number of km’s from our base location (where we store our mobile spa party supplies) in each city, we will need to charge slightly more than $20. We will provide you with an accurate travel charge quote once you provide us with the spa party address.
Parking reimbursement for our staff is only applicable when free parking is not available. 100% reimbursement of any parking fees our staff incur must be reimbursed. Parking fees need to be paid directly to the technician(s) in cash on the day of and not included in any party payments (unless the booking is a corporate booking to be invoiced). If a client has a preferred place for our staff to park, the clients is to advise at the time of party confirmation. It is the client's responsibility to advise us if free parking is not available. Should clients fail to, parking charges will still need to be paid for all staff in attendance that drove to their mobile spa booking.
If your kid/teen mobile spa birthday party package includes our organic group facial service we recommend having thinly sliced room temperature cucumbers on hand (lay them on a paper towel to soak up any juice). We also recommend having a few extra birthday party activities for the girls to do while they wait for their spa services. We have plenty of suggestions on our best birthday party ideas and games blog post. Otherwise, all we require is seating for the guests to sit in.
We actually only require a very small space (6 feet x 4 feet of floor space approximately). The best setup for manicure/pedicure treatments is to have spa guests sit on the end seats of a couch. For pedicure services the spa guests place their feet on a stool and our technicians have a comfortable cushion to sit on, on the floor. For manicure services we place a floating manicure table on each spa guest’s lap. Our technicians sit on a stool in front of the spa guest while performing their manicure service. We ask that you move any coffee tables away if they are close to the couch, so that our technicians will have room to sit in front of the couch.
Bar stools work wonderfully for girls to sit on if we are performing hair services, otherwise regular kitchen chairs will do.
Good lighting is essential for our spa technicians as is a clean, clutter-free and smoke-free environment. We appreciate removing pets from the party area for the duration we are in attendance. Please leave a parking spot open that is close to the entrance of your home and a pathway that is free of snow. This ensures we can carry supplies to and from your home safely.
As long as your city regulations allows spas to be open we will be offering our mobile spa services. Please note that some services and items on our menu may not be offered at the time of booking due to current restrictions or we may be required to only perform services outside (pending city regulations). It is the client’s full responsibility to look into and abide by all regulations (such as ensuring all guests are from the same household, max # of guests in their home, for example, if those regulations apply to your city).
Public Health regulations have mandated that like spas, all household members and staff need to wear masks at all times for the safety of everyone.
If you are unable to move forward with your mobile spa party due to illness or covid exposure your spa party deposit will be issued as a credit to be used at a later date. The credit for your mobile spa party does not expire. In the rare chance that we had to cancel your mobile spa party we would refund your spa party deposit in full. If some (but not all scheduled) staff are able to attend your spa party we reserve the right to downgrade spa birthday party packages / services so we can complete everything with the allotted party time.
Our company does require that all changes to a mobile spa party happen within 48 hours notice prior to the girl’s arrival time. If on the day of someone does not attend due to sickness we will offer additional services (up to the service value of the missing guest) on the other guests, and full charges will still apply.
If anyone in your household becomes ill we ask that you kindly let us know immediately so that we can reschedule your event until everyone is feeling better. We do require at a minimum that your event be pushed out 14 days to ensure that your household has ample time to fully recover before we send our staff to your home.
All items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized under public health guidelines in order to ensure no cross contamination from one household to another.
